I found this list a few weeks ago and wanted to share with you guys the things I wrote about a year and a half ago. I have completed some of them and well the rest I have a year to go.
1. Complete a 12km traverse.
I am planning on doing this 29 October :)
2. Pay off my non-student loan debt
I have just spent quite a bit of money on my car, so I have that too pay off although at the time of writing this it was I think my fsecond laptop (note I am now on my third and have paid them both off)
3. Skinny dip
I have no explanation for this one
4. Take a Road Trip
5. Dye my hair a stupid colour
6. Write a letter to my 30 year old self
7. Dance in the rain
8. Try a food i cant pronounce
9. Sleep under the stars for a night
10. Have a FUN all-nighter
One that doesnt involve study or just sitting in bed watching netflix like an adventourous one
11. Kiss someone on new years
I have always managed to be single or not with the person I am dating on new years so next new years is my last oppurtunity before i turn 20
12. Take my parents out to dinner
13. Love myself
14. Get a massage
I don't actually like massages so I'm not sure why i wrote this one down but okay
16. Go away for a weekend alone
I have also done this one and I am single so does that explain how that went? I would like to point out it isn't related to number 15
I actually do this quite often now I will go out to breakfast or lunch and take my laptop and do some work.
19. Cook something that challenges me.
20. Make a scrap book!
What do you want to complete before your next 'milestone' birthday? Are any of these things on your list?
Let me know in the comments below.
Oh, to be a teenager again. Lol. I'm really glad to see your goals are all fun and even a little empowering. So many people want to either have unrealistic work goals or base everything on relationships, and there is still plenty of time for that. Good luck accomplishing all this, I think you'll have a great time.
ReplyDeleteI agree! I love the quote by Bill Gates "Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.”
DeleteWriting a letter to your 30 year old self, sounds interesting :)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed writing it, it'll be up on a blog post on Sunday!
Deletehaha. Some of these you should be able to check off pretty easily - but some will be a bit more difficult! Don't waste your teenager years (said, no old person ever!)
ReplyDeleteThat was definitely the idea! I wanted ones were I could just do on a free day and others I really have to work towards.
DeleteHahaha, this post makes me think what are those 30 things for me before I turn 30.
ReplyDeleteIt was really fun to write, I definitely recommend it! Let me know if you do.
